CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Neukom Institute for Computational Science 2008-2009
Faculty and Student Research & Teaching Fellowships Application
Due Dates: May 5, 2008
The Neukom Institute for Computational Science now sponsors a competitive fellowship program for Dartmouth College faculty and students including the undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools. The Neukom Institute Fellowships are being offered to encourage and whenever possible, facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration using computational science to solve complex problems. The Institute Director and the Neukom Fellowships Working Group will evaluate applications and select for funding those proposals most compatible with the Institute’s mission.
Fellowships may range from $2,500 to $5,000 for faculty and $500 to $1,000 for students. Evaluation metrics include: quality of proposal and likelihood for realization of project goal(s); evidence of specific program, project, or publication that funding might seed; evidence of efforts to identify additional funding (where appropriate); confirmation of collaboration among Dartmouth faculty and students.
