Associate Dean for Interdisciplinary Studies, Lindsay Whaley, Ph.D., also Professor of Classics and Chair of the Program in Linguistics and Cognitive Science, is the founding member of the Neukom Institute Advisory Working Group for Interdisciplinary Computational Science and has appointed five additional members:

Joyce DeLeo, Ph.D., Professor of Anesthesiology and of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Dartmouth Medical School and Director of the Neuroscience Center at Dartmouth

Joseph Helble, Ph.D., Dean, Thayer School of Engineering and Professor of Engineering

Prasad Jayanti, Ph.D., Professor of Computer Science and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Dartmouth

Andrew Samwick, Ph.D., Director of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and Social Sciences at Dartmouth and Professor of Economics

Dorothy Wallace, Ph.D., Professor of Mathematics and Director of Math Across the Curriculum

The Advisory Working Group advises the Director of the Neukom Institute on policy regarding the Institute's support of scholarship and teaching at Dartmouth. In addition to discussing new initiatives, the Working Group provides counsel with respect to ongoing activities of the Institute.
